Manicure & Pedicure Beginner Course In-House - One on One

COURSE OVERVIEW:

This combined Manicure and pedicure course is designed for beginners and existing beauty therapists.

This course structure involves written and practical assessment in the course and certification on successfully passing the course. Training package will include a studied unit course manual. The manual will cover information been taught on the course and will act as a guide as a reference.

OUTLINE:

• Salon health, safety & hygiene
• How to prevent cross infection and contamination
• Be able to consult, plan and prepare for Manicure and Pedicure treatments with clients, how to effectively communicate and build relationships
• Preparation of workstation
• Anatomy & Physiology – which covers structure of the nail, bones of the hand.
• Understand contra-indications that prevent or restrict Manicure and Pedicure treatments
• How to recognise skin diseases/disorders, nail diseases/disorders
• Be able to carry out a Manicure and Pedicure
• Perfect polishing techniques
• Be able to provide aftercare advice for clients
• Evidence requirements
• You must be able to demonstrate a client consultation
• Carry out Manicure and Pedicure treatments
• Complete theory online prior to attending practical day
• Massage and paint the nails.
• Luxury paraffin wax treatment
• Shape the toenails
• Cuticle work
• Exfoliate

No prior experience is required. After hours practice during the course is essential to get the best results. Students receive certification of completion.
